QUALITY MATERIALS

We’ve partnered with the same small, family owned gem cutters and metal dealers for over a decade. Our suppliers are like family to us, and we work together to ensure we source the highest quality materials for our pieces. We hand craft every piece in our San Francisco studio and ensure that all of our materials are hypoallergenic.

GOLD FILL

Gold-filled jewelry is our go to gold metal. It is extremely durable, lasts decades and rarely changes color, even with everyday use (amazing, right?!) Gold fill is composed of a solid layer of gold (at least 5%) that is bonded to a base of another metal, such as sterling silver or copper.

GOLD VERMEIL

(Pronounced ver-may) Gold of at least 2.5 microns is layered on top of sterling silver to create all our gold vermeil jewelry. Five times thicker than average gold plating and more durable.

STERLING SILVER

All of our sterling silver is 92.5% pure.

OVERLAY

Our overlay jewelry is copper coated in an extremely heavy layer of gold or silver (10x more gold or silver than standard “plated gold” jewelry). We intentionally use copper as our base metal as it aids with joint pain.

NATURAL GEMSTONES

Our gemstones are sourced from all over the world and are hand cut by master artisans. We work one on one with our suppliers each season to hand select every stone that goes into your jewelry.

JEWELRY CARE & STORAGE

Wearing Your Jewelry

Avoid spraying perfumes and applying creams or any other liquids directly onto your jewelry.

Cleaning your Jewelry

For gold fill jewelry use mild soapy water and a soft toothbrush and very gently brush your pieces. Dry thoroughly.

For sterling silver jewelry use a silver polishing cloth or silver tarnish removal products. Dry thoroughly.

For vermeil and overlay jewelry, gently clean it with a cotton ball or very soft cloth. If your jewelry requires more extensive cleaning you can use warm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.

Many natural gemstones can be quite delicate. Hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. Clean your gemstones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing.

Storing Your Jewelry

Jewelry is best stored in a dry area away from moisture (i.e. don't keep it in the bathroom!)

When you are not wearing your pieces, gently wipe them with a cloth and place in a ziplock bag or Tupperware. A silica packet placed inside the bag will keep it from tarnishing during storage.
